The name of this religious organization shall be The Living Sacrament Church.
The Church exists to facilitate spiritual healing, consciousness expansion, and divine connection through the sacred and sacramental use of psilocybin mushrooms. Our purpose is to operate as a spiritual community, provide education, conduct ceremonies, and promote integration and wellness in alignment with our sacred doctrine.
1. Membership is open to individuals who affirm the spiritual nature of the Church and agree to its doctrine and policies.
2. All members must complete the official Membership Application and Waiver.
3. Membership may be revoked for violations of Church policies, unsafe practices, or unethical conduct.
4. Members must be 21 years of age or older.
1. The Board of Directors shall oversee the legal, financial, and organizational operations of the Church.
2. The Board shall consist of at least three members, including a Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer.
3. Board members shall serve staggered two-year terms and may be reappointed.
4. Meetings shall be held at least quarterly to conduct Church business.
5. Quorum for any vote shall consist of a majority of Board members.
1. Clergy must complete a Church-approved training program covering doctrine, ethics, facilitation, and integration.
2. Clergy are authorized to administer sacraments, lead ceremonies, and offer spiritual counseling.
3. Facilitators may support clergy in conducting ceremonies but are not authorized to administer sacraments independently.
4. Clergy must maintain high standards of safety, consent, and confidentiality.
1. Sacramental use shall be conducted in accordance with the Sacrament Administration Policy.
2. Ceremonies may be private, individual, or group-based.
3. The Church prohibits the commercial sale of sacrament or recreational use by members.
4. All participants must engage in preparation and integration processes.
1. The Church is a nonprofit religious organization. All income shall be used solely for Church activities.
2. Financial records shall be maintained and reviewed quarterly by the Board.
3. Donations and member contributions shall be voluntary and tax-deductible (pending 501(c)(3) approval).
4. No Board member or clergy shall receive personal profit from sacrament-related activities.
These Bylaws may be amended by a two-thirds vote of the Board of Directors. Amendments must align with the Church’s core doctrine and spiritual mission.
