Membership Terms of The Living Sacrament Church

This agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by the undersigned individual (“Member”) and The Living Sacrament (“Church”), a spiritual organization that utilizes sacramental mushrooms for religious and spiritual purposes under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA).

1. Purpose and Spiritual Nature

The Member affirms that they are joining The Living Sacrament for the purpose of spiritual communion, healing, and personal transformation through the ceremonial use of sacred mushrooms. The Member acknowledges the Church’s use of entheogenic mushrooms as a central part of its spiritual practice and doctrine

2. Non-Commercial Participation

The Member understands that sacramental offerings are provided through donation only, and that the Church does not engage in the commercial sale, promotion, or recreational distribution of psilocybin-containing substances.

3. Informed Consent and Personal Responsibility

The Member agrees to assume full responsibility for their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing before, during, and after participation in any sacramental use. The Member has disclosed any relevant mental or physical health conditions in the intake process and affirms they are capable of participating safely.

4. Legal Acknowledgment

The Member acknowledges that while The Living Sacrament operates under RFRA protection, entheogenic mushrooms remain a Schedule I substance under federal law. The Member agrees not to distribute, resell, or misuse any sacrament outside the Church’s guidelines.

5. Confidentiality and Membership Terms

All teachings, ceremonies, and sacraments of the Church are considered sacred and confidential. Membership may be revoked at any time if the Member violates Church ethics or misuses its sacraments.

6. Waiver of Liability

The Member waives all claims against The Living Sacrament, its stewards, volunteers, and affiliates for any harm or injury sustained during participation. The Member releases the Church from any and all liability, known or unknown, arising from their voluntary participation.

7. Final Agreement

By checking the box, the Member subscribes to and confirms that they have read and understood this Agreement, and are joining The Living Sacrament of their own free will, in alignment with its beliefs and practices.
